Here are just a few of the offerings:
Music: Several times per week area musicians perform for residents of Orchard Crest.
Exercise: Various exercise programs are included throughout the week: sit and be fit, firming and toning, walking group, Thai Chi, and water aerobic exercise.
Swimming: Our large indoor pool features a gradual ramp to aid residents into the pool by walking. The deepest part of the pool is just five feet, and the length is comfortable to do laps or to have adequate room for water aerobic exercises. This beautiful pool's modern computer system regulates temperature, pH, chlorine, and other sensitive factors 24 hours a day to insure a safe and pleasant swimming experience. After a pleasant swim, let the Jacuzzi spa soothe tired muscles and bones.
Outings: Every week residents travel to near and far destinations such as museums, casinos, restaurants, parks, farms . . . truly endless opportunities for those who like to get up and go.
Games: Bingo, pool, pinochle, bridge, bunko, and blackjack are among the games people play together at Orchard Crest.
Theme and holiday events: Because we focus on the fun in life we include many special holiday parties for our residents' enjoyment. Many events are family-centered so children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other special people can join the fun.
Chapel Services: Weekly services feature a variety of ministers or lay ministers. We also have weekly Bible study and other specific services.
Wall of Honor: Share your story and be added to our Wall of Honor highlighting our Veterans.
Movies, etc: In our deluxe movie theatre we show new and classic movies. Plus our special guests include slide show presenters, speakers, demonstrations, and many other educational opportunities.
