Newly expanded medical equipment factory could bring 200 new jobs to Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — Jubilant HollisterStier (JHS) opened a third manufacturing line to their Spokane factory.

JHS held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the expansion and celebrate the factory's next step of expansion. JHS said the new expansion will bring more than 200 jobs to Spokane.

Spokane City Council members and other local and state officials were at the ceremony. The event also featured a video message from House Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers.

The expansion is 50,000 square feet. JHS said it can increase production by 55 million units per year and 400 vials per minute. That means the factory can make more equipment like syringes and ointments.

JHS is scheduling projects for clients on the third manufacturing line. JHS also broke ground on a fourth manufacturing line in their Spokane facility.

Spokane hosts one JHS factory. The other factory is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
