COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — City of Coeur d’Alene officials say a mountain lion has been spotted in the popular hiking area of Tubbs Hill.
If you encounter a mountain lion, be sure to: stop; stay calm; appear large; fight back if attacked; make noise; keep children close; avoid hiking alone; and pack bear spray.
On July 20, cougars were also spotted at Black Bay Park in Post Falls.
